David Oblon

David Oblon appears in Virginia courthouses multiple times a week and has done so for over two decades. He resolves disputes. His cases have ranged, on the civil side, from complex, multi-jurisdiction litigation representing one of the nation’s largest companies, to small breach of contract actions; and, on the criminal law side, from murder to reckless driving.

He has received more honors and accolades by peer groups and the media than almost any other lawyer. (See the long list, below). He has been interviewed on FOX News, CNN, and other news programs over 100 times.

He serves in a quasi-judicial role as a Commissioner in Chancery.

LEADERSHIP

He is a leader of the Bar, elected by other lawyers to serve three terms on the Virginia State Bar Council (Board of Directors). He is a charitable leader, having served as Chairman of the Arlington County Bar Foundation, where he was the top fundraiser and event organizer. He is also a civic leader, having served as a Cub Master and Temple leader.
