Michael C. May is an aggressive litigator who has represented clients in courts throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia in civil and criminal matters. He has experience in all manner of litigation, having represented both businesses and individuals as plaintiffs and defendants.

Mr. May generally focuses his practice on business litigation, employment law, domestic relations/family law, and criminal law. He is licensed to practice in all courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.  Mr. May is fluent in Spanish and has assisted the Firm in numerous litigation matters where such fluency has been required

In addition to his work as an attorney, Mr. May spent nine years (2007-2016) serving his home community as an elected member of the Board of County Supervisors in Prince William County, Virginia. In this capacity, he helped oversee the budget for Virginia’s second largest county of almost 450,000 residents.  During his tenure in public service, Mr. May has been known as a tireless advocate for his constituents, and he brings this same passion to representing his clients, no matter how big or small their case.
